Emergency Procedures

Lift Failure / Guest Stuck in the Lift

  • Emergency Call from Inside the Lift:

    • The emergency call will be automatically directed to the Resort Command Center.

    • The Command Center will coordinate the response and dispatch assistance promptly.

  • Emergency Call from Lift Landing Area:

    • If a guest is reporting a lift issue from the landing area, immediately contact the Resort Command Center on their behalf.

    • Ensure you record the caller’s mobile phone number, especially if the call is made from a public or landline phone, for follow-up communication.

Fire Drill Procedures

  • Purpose:

    • Fire drills are mandatory training exercises designed to reinforce knowledge of proper evacuation routes and emergency response protocols.

  • During a Fire Drill:

    • Proactively inform all guests that hotel lifts will be non-operational and stationed at the lobby level throughout the duration of the drill.

Ambulance or Police Assistance Requests

  • Ambulance Request:

    • If a guest requests an ambulance, inform them that the call will be transferred to the hotel’s Medical Team, who will coordinate the ambulance dispatch and provide necessary first aid if needed.

  • Police Assistance Request:

    • If a guest requests police assistance, immediately notify the Security Duty Manager for appropriate response and coordination with local authorities.

  • Leadership Notification:

    • In both ambulance and police-related cases, it is essential to inform the Shift Leadership Team without delay to ensure proper incident logging and support.
