Safe Box Issues at ATP and ATR


Battery Failure

  • Problem: The safe is non-functional because the internal battery is dead or low.

Safe Won’t Lock or Open

  • Problem: The locking mechanism is jammed, or there’s a software malfunction.




Procedure – ATP & ATR (Access Troubleshooting Protocol)

  1. Verify the Issue
    Confirm the specific issue with the guest—whether the door cannot be locked or unlocked, or if there is no battery/power affecting the locking mechanism.

  2. Log the Task in Amadeus
    Create a clear and detailed task in Amadeus, accurately describing the nature of the issue to ensure appropriate and timely follow-up.

  3. Notify the Command Center
    Call the Command Center immediately to report the issue and request technical assistance.

  4. Advise the Guest
    Politely inform the guest that their presence in the room is required for the team to check and resolve any issues with the safe box. This ensures both security and access during troubleshooting.
