Request of a professional photoshoot

  • Only in-house guest is permitted to do a professional photoshoot in the hotel public areas as long as it is for personal use and not for advertising.

  • A photo shoot is defined as a professional photographer taking photographs of an individual or a group as they stand or sit for multiple poses.

  • All guests who are part of the shoot must be guests staying in the property.

 

  • An external photographer may be brought in for the photoshoot as long as they provide a hard copy of Emirates ID or passport.

 

  • Guests must also ensure they sign a photoshoot form before they start the photoshoot 

Why is it important to get the Liability Form Signed before the Photo Shoot?

Signed Liability Form give permission for the photoshoot to take place, without this any professional photoshoot is not authorized.

What is permitted?

  • A nice, professional photography camera is permitted for approved professional photoshoots.

 

  • Guests on holiday may also use a professional camera on their own (without a professional photographer). This is permitted as long as they are capturing their holiday moments and not disrupting operations or other guests. 

 

  • Phones and Go Pros are permitted.

 

What is not permitted?

  • Video filming with big professional camera is not permitted in any location throughout the Hotel, without prior approval from the Public Relations or Marketing team.

 

  • Drone filming is not permitted in any location throughout Atlantis, without prior approval from the Public Relations or Marketing team and the Security team. A permit from the Civil Aviation Authority is also required.

 

Steps and procedures

  • Guest may approach the Front office/Royal Club or the Concierge team to request for a photoshoot procedure, below steps needs to be followed to ensure a smooth process:

  1. Guest needs to be present with the Photographer when signing/instructing about the security procedures.
  2. The Colleague needs to present the Photoshoot form to the guest ensuring that they read the rules and regulations and all the information are provided and the form is signed.

  1. The Photographer to present his Emirates ID or his original passport (photos on the phone are not accepted)

  2. The Original photoshoot form to be scanned, with Emirates ID/ Passport of the photographer and attached to the email that will be sent to Security team and PR team.

the Photoshoot form needs to be given to the guest, which they must carry with them during the photoshoot. (To show security when needed).
