We would like to inform all team members of critical updates regarding Kosher meal requests at Atlantis Dubai.
No Kosher food will be available at Atlantis The Royal or Atlantis The Palm from 4th September 2025 onward.
All stocks have been fully consumed, and no further procurement or storage of Kosher food will take place at either property.
Please read the following information carefully to ensure continued alignment with our food safety standards and guest communication protocols.
Reason for Discontinuation
Following a comprehensive evaluation and audit of all known Kosher food suppliers:
None of the companies contacted met the required quality standards.
Health & Safety inspections conducted by our team were not successfully passed by any of these suppliers.
Therefore, a decision has been made to discontinue all Kosher food procurement.
Departmental Responsibility
Moving forward, our department will no longer be responsible for managing Kosher food requests.
We will also cease to serve as a point of contact for any Kosher-related food sourcing.
Guest Communication Protocol
In the event of a guest inquiry:
Kindly direct guests politely to source Kosher meals independently from external restaurants available in Dubai.
While several Kosher establishments in the city are reputable, please note:
They are not ISO-certified.
They are not aligned with our Food Safety Management System (FSMS).
As such, Atlantis The Royal will not coordinate or facilitate Kosher meal orders on behalf of any guest.
Food Safety & Liability Guidelines
To safeguard both our guests and the hotel:
All Kosher meal orders must be:
Placed, received, and handled directly by the guest.
Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) teams must not:
Reheat
Store
Handle
any externally sourced Kosher food.
⚠️ Important Note: If a guest falls ill after consuming externally sourced food and we were involved in its handling, the hotel could be held liable.
For this reason, we must maintain strict non-involvement to protect both the guest’s wellbeing and the hotel’s reputation.
No Internal SOP Development
The Culinary Department will not proceed with the creation of any SOPs related to Kosher food handling.
This aligns with our position of non-involvement in future Kosher-related services.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we take this step to uphold our safety, integrity, and service standards.
