How to Handle Room Move Request


 Room moves are offered due to various reasons, either the guest did not like the room or there is an issue with the room, so the guest has been offered to move to another room.

Who handles room move?

  • Room moves are handled by Reception team in Opera according to room category and actioned by Bell desk to shift the bags to a new room. 

What do we do if the guest calls requesting a room move?

  • Check if the guest has been moved to a new room in the system, if yes, then place a task in Amadeus "Bell - Room Move" for ATP and ATR.
  • If the room move has not been done in the Opera yet, please escalate the matter to the reception team for further assistance.
