ATD Key re-issue procedure

When do we re-issue a room key?

We create a new key card, if the key is not working; the guest moved to another room; in case of LCO after 12 pm or guest lost their room key, etc. 

To identify, if the key is not working or not, please verify the below information about Electronic Door Card Reader with the guest and place a task in Amadeus accordingly.

 

·If the door card reader shows green light, it means: Battery is good.

·If the door card reader shows blinking yellow light, it means: Battery is low (Engineering assistance is required)

·If the door Card reader not showing any light, it means: Battery is empty and needs to be changed. (Engineering assistance is required)

·If the door card reader shows a red light, it means: Key is not working and has nothing to do with the battery. (New key must be sent from FO)

·If the door card reader shows red/orange light blinking at once means the door is double locked from the inside. (Required Security/FM team Assistance to open the door)
