When do we re-issue a room key?
▶We create a new key card, if the key is not working; the guest moved to another room; in case of LCO after 12 pm or guest lost their room key, etc.
▶To identify, if the key is not working or not, please verify the below information about Electronic Door Card Reader with the guest and place a task in Amadeus accordingly.
·If the door card reader shows green light, it means: Battery is good.
·If the door card reader shows blinking yellow light, it means: Battery is low (Engineering assistance is required)
·If the door Card reader not showing any light, it means: Battery is empty and needs to be changed. (Engineering assistance is required)
·If the door card reader shows a red light, it means: Key is not working and has nothing to do with the battery. (New key must be sent from FO)
·If the door card reader shows red/orange light blinking at once means the door is double locked from the inside. (Required Security/FM team Assistance to open the door)
