FREEDIVING EXPLORER

Certified free divers, aged 12 and above, can explore the mysterious depths of the world-famous Ambassador Lagoon under the guidance of our expert Dive Team. Discover a whole new way to experience the impressive underwater world. Explore the depths, capture breathtaking photos and videos, and immerse yourself alongside more than 65,000 fascinating marine animals!

YOUR EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

• Freediving Explorer is for certified freedivers only. 
• Participants must have a current freediving certification from a reputable organization, including but not limited to, PADI Freediver. Please contact our team for a full list.
• Freediving Explorer takes place in the Ambassador Lagoon at the Lost World Aquarium 
• Participants of the experience must arrive at the Lost World Aquarium entrance at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time If a participant arrives 15 minutes after the scheduled start time, they will be considered a “no show” The maximum group size is 4 participants 
• Participants must wear appropriate swimsuits and should arrive dressed and prepared to get wet 
• Wetsuits are required and will be provided 
• Equipment which includes fins, mask, wetsuit, boots, and weight belt will be provided. 
• Participants are also permitted to bring their own equipment 
• Participants should be aware that all our experience are conducted in English 
• The minimum age requirement for participation is 12 years old 
• Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. 
• If an adult does not participate in the experience with the minor, the adult must ensure to be present upon entry and exit of the experience, having given signed consent to dive staff in advance 
• Please note the following items of equipment are not permitted; dive knives, spearguns and flashlights 
• After experiencing Freediving Explorer, a 12-hour minimum interval is required before any high-altitude excursion (300 metres or more), such as The Dubai Balloon, flying, a helicopter ride, a visit to the top of Burj Khalifa or Sky Diving Pregnant guests are not permitted to participate in this experience 
• Not suitable for any guests who are claustrophobic, have a fear or confined spaces or fear of being surrounded by marine life 
• Freediving is not recommended if participant is currently feeling congested 
• Freediving is not permitted if participant has conducted scuba-diving within 12-hours prior 
• We offer a 50% discount for People of Determination and their caregiver 
• Intoxicated participants will be refused to participate in the experience

CANCELLATION, REFUND & RESCHEDULING:

• Full refund if reservation is cancelled at least 72 hours or more prior to scheduled event
• 50% cancellation fee will be applied from 72 hours up to 24 hours prior to interaction time
• 100% cancellation fee will be applied if cancelled within 24 hours of scheduled event
• Rescheduling must be made with a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours prior to schedule time
• A charge of AED 90 per person rescheduling fee will be applied if request is within 24 hours of booked interaction
• Rescheduling request is subject to availability
• No Shows are charged full price of booked interaction
