Location: The Lost World Aquarium is located on the East Tower, at The Avenues. 


Timing: The aquarium opens at 10:00 am and closes at 9:00 pm. The last entry is at 8:30pm. 


Age policy: The Lost World Aquarium can be enjoyed by everyone of all ages. 


Tickets: 


- Resort guests get unlimited complimentary access during their stay. Pre-booking is not required. 


- External guests can purchase their tickets on the website or at the counter upon arrival.

Parking: If you are arriving by car, please park your vehicle at the Aquaventure Waterpark parking area. To reach the parking, turn right at the first roundabout after exiting the tunnel that leads to Atlantis, The Palm. From there, a shuttle will take you to the Avenues entrance. Make your way through The Avenues and follow the Lost World Aquarium signs for directions.


Themed Environment: 


The aquarium is designed to resemble the ancient, submerged ruins of Atlantis. You'll walk through a maze of underwater tunnels and chambers decorated with artifacts, statues, and remnants of this mythical civilization, creating a truly captivating atmosphere. 


Diverse Marine Life:


It houses over 65,000 marine animals from around the world, spread across 21 exhibits. You can encounter a wide variety of species, including:

  • Sharks (various types)   
  • Rays (stingrays, honeycomb rays)   
  • Piranhas
  • Jellyfish (moon jellyfish)   
  • Seahorses   
  • Various colorful fish and coral reef inhabitants   
  • Giant Arapaima (one of the world's largest freshwater fish)  



Interactive Experiences: 


Beyond simply viewing the marine life, the Lost World Aquarium offers several interactive experiences:


  • Aquatheatre Shows: Daily shows where divers interact with the marine life in the Ambassador Lagoon, often including feeding demonstrations and educational insights.
  • 1pm & 3:45pm at The Seven Sages Chamber


  • Shark Education Station: Educational talk about sharks. 
  • 10:30am, 12pm, 2pm, 3pm, 5pm, 7pm at The Abyss 


  • Shark Nursery: Shark nursery & feeding. 
  • 2pm at The Seven Sages Chamber


  • Ray Feeding Display: A Ray feeding show by diver. 
  • 2:30pm (Excluding Wed & Sun) at The Red Sage Chamber 


  • Ocean Giants: Grouper discovery Talk. 
  • 3pm at the Emergency Exit.

 

 

  • Explorer Trail: Guided walking tours that delve into the legends of Atlantis and provide information about the aquarium's inhabitants.   


  • Fish Tales Tour: A behind-the-scenes tour that includes visits to the Fish Hospital, food preparation areas, and the shark nursery.   



  • Diving, Snorkeling, Trekking: For the more adventurous, there are options to dive or snorkel in the Ambassador Lagoon alongside sharks and rays.  


  • Underwater Yoga & Meditation:  Improve your spiritual well-being for peace and clarity of mind, in a setting that is like no other. Start your day early as classes begin before the aquarium opens up to the public.  


 

  • Ambassador Lagoon: This is the centerpiece of the aquarium, a massive 11-million-liter exhibit where many of the larger species, like sharks and rays, reside. Its Atlantis-themed backdrop makes for stunning views.  

 


  • Atlas Project. Conservation Efforts & Educational Programs: The aquarium has breeding programs for species like seahorses and moon jellyfish, which are later released into the ocean, highlighting their commitment to marine conservation.
