ABOUT THE CHEF

Björn Frantzén, born in 1977, discovered his passion for food early on, inspired by a simple yet memorable steak meal. He refined his skills working at top restaurants like Chez Nico’s in London and L’Arpège in Paris under celebrated Michelin-star chefs. Today, Björn brings his innovative culinary vision to Studio Frantzén in Dubai, offering a luxurious dining experience that showcases his dedication to excellence. Beyond his culinary achievements, he actively supports charity, hosting annual dinners to benefit the Swedish Child Diabetes Foundation, highlighting his commitment to both food and community.

Guests who wish to enjoy drinks only at the Bar Area may walk in, subject to seat availability. The dress code policy remains applicable at all times.

The restaurant is flexible and will make every effort to accommodate same-day notifications.
Requests for Kosher menu could not be accommodated.

ELEVATED GUEST EXPERIENCES

SPECIAL OCCASIONS

Guests celebrating special occasions will receive a complimentary dessert. The occasion should be mentioned at the time of booking.
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is requested. Same-day arrangements are subject to availability, but the team will strive to make the celebration special.
Studio Frantzén can arrange a Strawberry Cream Cake for guests on a chargeable basis at AED 520, approximately 1.5kg in size and suitable for up to 10 persons.
Guests may order cakes from Plato’s if they wish to celebrate a special occasion
Once a request is received, it should be forwarded to the restaurant team to confirm the order details and facilitate payment. A cake cutting fee applies even if the cake is ordered from Plato’s or Central Pastry.
Guests may bring their own cake for a charge of AED 85 per person. A waiver form will need to be signed upon arrival. Informing the team 24–48 hours in advance is recommended to ensure smooth arrangements. The same policy applies for cakes brought from Plato's.
Personalized cakes and flower bouquet arrangements are available at an additional charge. Requests must be coordinated directly with the restaurant team.
Table decoration requests, such as flower petals, cannot be accommodated.

Flower Order Guidelines

A flower menu available that can be offered or emailed to the guest by the restaurant team upon request.
Guests must place their order at least 24 hours in advance to allow time to confirm availability with the hotel florist.
Last-minute flower requests on the same day are not guaranteed and must always be checked with the florist for confirmation.
We also offer a SevenRooms upgrade for assorted flowers at AED 300. If the reservation is canceled within 24 hours, Studio Frantzén reserves the right to retain the payment.

Decoration Policy

Table decoration requests, such as flower petals, cannot be accommodated.
Decorations, such as balloons or table setups, are not permitted in the main dining area, bar, or lounge.
Exceptions may be made only for exclusive restaurant buyouts or private events held in the Private Dining Room.
Studio Frantzén does not provide or accommodate external decorations or setups under standard dining conditions.

SEATING

The restaurant's capacity can accommodate 151 guests at the main dining area (atrium & kitchen counter) and 37 guests at the bar.

Seating preferences are accommodated based on availability and cannot be guaranteed in advance; however, requests for seating preferences are noted on the reservation.

Reservation Policies

Reservations are highly recommended to secure seating and guarantee a pleasant dining experience.
No credit card details are required to confirm l reservations, for both in-house and external guests.
Should plans change, guests are encouraged to cancel at least 24 hours in advance.
In-house guests who wish to walk in without a reservation will be accommodated based on availability.
External guests without reservations may be accommodated based on availability; however, please note that entry to the property might not be guaranteed without a booking confirmation.

Dress Code: Smart Casual

Gentlemen are requested to wear the following:
Tailored shorts, long trousers, or smart jeans
T-shirts with sleeves
Closed shoes
UAE National Dress (Kandura and Abaya) is welcomed and considered appropriate for the venue.
The following dress code are not permitted:
Swimwear or beachwear
Sportswear
Sleeveless shirts
Flip-flops
Open-toed shoes (For gentlemen)
Caps and hats
Children must follow the same dress code as adults.

Table Holding Time:

Tables are held for 15 minutes past the reservation time.
Guests arriving later than 15 minutes are requested to call the restaurant in advance.
The reservation may be re-allocated to a later timing based on availability.
If no suitable timing is available, seating will be offered based on available tables upon arrival.
