The Lost Chambers Aquarium will be closed for scheduled enhancements from August 3, 2025.
The aquarium is expected to relaunch under its new name, Lost World Aquarium, on the following dates:
Private Opening Event
- Thursday, October 23 | 8:00 PM – 12:00 AM (by invitation only)
Soft Launch (Hotel Guests Only)
- Friday–Sunday, October 24–26
Public Launch
- Monday, October 27
During this period, all Marine experiences will remain operational, except for Yoga and Yoga Sound Healing.

As part of our continued commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences, we would like to inform you that The Lost Chambers Aquarium at Atlantis, The Palm will be temporarily closed for renovations starting 03rd August 2025. These exciting enhancements are scheduled to be unveiled in Q4 2025 and are designed to elevate the experience for our guests. These enhancements are essential to elevate the overall journey for all staying guests at Atlantis The Palm and Atlantis The Royal. During the closure period, guests will still be able to enjoy the stunning Ambassador Lagoon viewing panel, located in front of Poseidon Café. All diving and snorkelling activities remain fully operational and available on additional charge. To ensure our guests continue to enjoy engaging and educational activities during this period, we are pleased to offer a complimentary Behind-The-Scenes Tour of our Fish Hospital, available exclusively for staying guests at Atlantis, The Palm and Atlantis The Royal.
